This work was born from the simple idea of what it means to take and share a space, later compiled into a book. It began as an act of friendship, where I granted Milica Jankovic extended access to my home while I was on vacation in Mexico.

In my absence, questions arose about the meaning of presence. How do we inhabit a space that belongs to someone else? This exploration delves into issues of vulnerability, trust, and transgression—made possible through the artistic dialogue that permeates friendship.

Together, we reflected on the extent to which we become the other. Do you feel violated? Inspired? Do you feel that I occupied your home?
