Montserrat Camargo has a BA in Fine Art by Minerva Academy and a MA in Creative writing by Universidad Complutense de Madrid. As a multidisciplinary artist. her training and experience allow her to approach challenges from a creative perspective, complemented by meticulous attention to detail. She has worked in the field of international contemporary art, participating in all stages of exhibition development and production.
Her artistic practice focuses on exploring human experience and relationships from an introspective and subjective perspective. She analyzes the role of women in society, constructing narratives from a feminine viewpoint. Through the study of ritual, taboos, and the dynamics of human relationships, she examines the emotional and the everyday, seeking to reveal what remains hidden in human and cultural experiences.
She works with media such as photography, video, installation, and writing to develop performative investigations, where the process itself becomes an essential part of the work. Her practice constantly reflects on the possibility that every human action is, in essence, a form of performance.
